Looking for a laid-back hike with a touch of adventure? This gem in East Tyrol delivers both! Starting at the Würfelehütte parking lot, a scenic forest trail winds gently uphill for about an hour, following the local sledding route. It’s the perfect way to stretch your legs while soaking in the fresh mountain air.
Once at the top, the sun terrace of the Würfelehütte invites you to kick back, refuel, and enjoy breathtaking views of the Virger mountain landscape. But the real highlight? The way down! In winter, you can rent a sled and race back down the 2.1 km - pure adrenaline and endless fun!
We added this little adventure as a pit stop on our way to an East Tyrol vacation, and it turned out to be the perfect mix of relaxation and thrill. Definitely one for the list! 🚀❄️
